Working on Incubator is a commitment to attend weekly meetings for the full academic year and Incubator events. Incubator members get guaranteed interviews for project teams once they leave Incubator. More information is detailed below. We hope to see you in the Incubator in the Fall!

▿ Project Development

This is for individuals who are looking for an immersive and experiential introduction to design processes and project development, or who may be interested in starting their own M-HEAL project team from the ground up. Teams are formed around real, unmet needs within the Ann Arbor community that will be developed from research done by M-HEAL’s Incubator teams. Teams work throughout the academic year to address these needs as they are guided through early stages of the design process: information gathering, user needs, design requirements, etc. Members will develop an understanding of human-centered design, have opportunities to gain insight about design from current M-HEAL project team members, and get exposure to technical skills through the Incubator workshop series. There will also be several social and networking events. Teams will present their work at M-HEAL’s end of the year Design Showcase.
